At Papertown Imaginarium, we are very conscious of the special age group we serve and the need to protect and safeguard their exposure and interaction with the internet. Parents/Guardians:

  • - When you register on behalf of your child, we ask for your name, address, telephone number, and email address. We also ask for your child/ward’s name, date of birth, school, location of school, and grade/class.
  • - We use the information collected for the general purpose of fulfilling your request to create an account for your child/ward, or to register you (or an accompanying adult) and your child/ward for the event.
  • - From time to time, we may host writing competitions or call for submission of entries for publication projects, for which we would ask participants to submit their writing. In this process, participants will be asked for their first and last name, date of birth, location, grade/class school, and school’s address.
  • - Parents, guardians, or teachers are required to submit these entries on behalf of their minor children/wards or pupils/students.
  • - If a participant’s writing is selected, their name, school, and grade/class may appear along with their writing, with the consent of the parent/guardian.
  • - The personal information collected during this process is used to process their participation in the competition/publication. We also use this information to contact the participants’ parents/guardians to inform them about the participants’ performance - whether their writing has been selected and how it will be published or that their writing needs further work for possible future publication.

Users 18 years and above:

  • - We collect personal information when you register on the website to create an account, become a member, or register for an email newsletter.
  • - We also collect personal information when you register to attend any of our physical events.
  • - When you register for an account or an event, we ask for your name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, school, location of school, class/grade, and the name, telephone number, and email address of at least one parent/guardian.
  • - We use this information for the general purpose of fulfilling your request to create an account, receive an email newsletter or attend our event.

  • - When a school representative opts for this, they are asked to provide some basic information including their name, telephone number, email address, name of school, school’s address, and role/position at the school.
  • - We use this information to process your request for a school press club.
  • - From time to time, we may host writing competitions or call for submission of enteries for publication projects, for which we would ask participants to submit their writing. In this process participants will be asked for their first and last name, date of birth, location, grade/class school and school’s address.
  • - Educators may submit these enteries on behalf of their pupils/students.
  • - We would ask for your name, email address, telephone number and relationship with the participant.
  • - If a participant’s writing is selected, their name, school and grade/class may appear along with their writing, with the consent of the parent/guardian.
  • - The personal information collected during this process is used to process their participation in the competition/publication. We also use this information to contact you regarding the participants’ performance - whether their writing has been selected and how it will be published or that their writing needs further work for possible future publication.

General Users:

  • - We may collect personal information from users who request for information regarding our publishing services or other general information through the website.
  • - We may collect personal information including your name, telephone number, location and email address.
  • - We use this information for the general purpose of fulfiling your request for information.
  • - Visitors to the website may browse our website without registering for an account, to become members or registering for email newsletter. In this case visitors will not be requested to share their personal information.
  • - Only users with accounts may download, share, save, bookmark and upload resources.
